It all started with a worry you might know too: wanting to give your family food they enjoy, made with good ingredients, and feeling at peace with what you put on the table.

When I first got curious about sourdough, I discovered a world full of possibilities. I wanted to learn to bake delicious bread, explore new flours and find alternatives that suited my family's needs better.

But I soon realized that learning wasn't as simple as it looked.

There were recipes everywhere, explanations that contradicted each other and countless details nobody seemed to explain in a way that was actually easy to understand.

Sometimes the bread didn't turn out the way I hoped. Other times, the dough behaved in ways I couldn't make sense of. And every new attempt reminded me how much I still had to learn.

But instead of giving up, I kept experimenting, paying attention to every step and learning from my mistakes.

Little by little, sourdough stopped being a mystery. I started to understand flours, fermentation times, hydration and all those small details that can completely change how a loaf turns out.

And what began as a personal quest turned into a passion I wanted to share.

Then the questions started coming in…

People who were just getting started and didn't know how to care for their starter.

People who had tried to bake bread again and again, only to end up with dough that was hard to handle, dense loaves or results nothing like what they expected.

Then there were those who had given up on sourdough because it felt too complicated, even after many attempts.

And over time, people who were already baking bread to sell started reaching out, wanting to take their small businesses to the next level.

Their stories were all different, but many had one thing in common: they loved the idea of baking sourdough, but they needed clear guidance to get past their struggles and move forward with more confidence.

That's when I realized it wasn't just about sharing recipes. I wanted to help people understand the process, answer their questions and discover that they could learn without feeling lost in a sea of information.

That's how Learn with EMMA was born.

I want to share what I've learned with you and help you along this journey in a way that's simpler, more practical and more personal.

Whether you've never baked a sourdough loaf or you've tried and haven't gotten the results you want, here you'll find a way to learn step by step.

And if you dream of turning your love of bread into a small business, I want to inspire you to keep learning and growing your skills too.

Because you don't have to know everything from day one. And you don't need to spend hours searching for answers without knowing which ones to trust.
